Well if you haven't its when a driver pees in a bottle and throws it out the window cause they don't want to stop.  I got hit with one while passing a dump truck convoy on my way home from Roanoke today.  I was going about 75 and wham right in the chest.  I had my rain gear on, thank God ti was raining.  I don't know the contents of the bottle but it was full and was not capped, i saw it coming at me in slow motion, red coke bottle and no red cap.  Got home, washed the gear and took a shower just to be safe.

yeah tell me about it.  Now i have this nifty coke bottle bruse on my chest, the car behind me locked up the brakes when they saw the bottle coming for me i guess that was so it would miss them if it didn't hit me.

The truck driver is an ass.  I'd get the truck company's number and call the police on a assault charge.  Had you not been wearing a helmet, or such what Harley riders wear, it could have been fatal.  Oh, but let me guess, he's a union driver, so he can be an asshat.  Those are the kinds that give humans a bad rep.  Sorry...had to rant, but it's still assault.

So nasty...

That's why you NEVER piss off a trucker. :nono:

Thats always my primary objective hwen im riding or driving. You seen that movie JoyRide. Truck drivers, they're killers.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof, is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools....

Thanks to advances in automation, Nike shoes will be made by robots. Unfortunately, the robots will be made by children in Malaysia.

Damn, that's nasty. Recently I heard that in DK they use bottles, cans.. Hell, everything they have at their disposal, some even use plasticbags..

But hell, why not spend those 2 mins on taking a piss somewhere, instead of making the roads dangerous for other drivers!
Yes im Danish, but cannot be eaten!

Old Mr. Wilson

I have known of this for at least 30 years. Instead of using a "travel urinal" (yes they make one for the ladies too so their volvo will fit comfortably) people pee in a bottle "on the fly" and throw it out the window instead of having to stop to pee. This is usually done for long haul trips and time is of the essence. I do NOT approve of it at ALL. I personally witnessed a buddy of mine peeing in bud bottles and slinging them BACK toward moving traffic. People were swerving all over the road in BACK of us. I finally was able to get the wheel away from him after we left the blacktop and went into the median at over a hundred miles an hour doing 360 degrees many times before we stopped spinning in the grass. God was with me and us that day. I cursed him like a disobedient dog for over an hour going home. I did not get into another vehicle with him driving for about 3 years. He is dead now. He left the road years later in Carroll County, MS (hills and hills) and went through some tree tops (at over a 100 guesstimated by the Highway Patrol). Thrown from vehicle. Snapped neck. Had gotten drunk. Left the house in a rage from a fight with his wife. She is dead now too. She died years later and I suspect from a broken heart. She followed him everywhere through all their trials and tribulations. I remarked that she even followed him to his grave. I loved him (her too) like a brother that I never had. This post brought back some painful memories.
Taxes are Good. Millions that have been on Welfare for the last 30 years are depending on you. Also Millions that are coming over the border each year are depending on YOU.
Also taxes will fix our shitty schools and roads that have been broken for 40+ years.

You really don't get it do you???

Cal Price

Yeah, that's about as antisocial as it gets!

Back in my ship-loading days you had to be extreemly careful when waking the truckers for services between 0200 and 6000 'cos people do very odd things when they first wake up like start the truck in gear etc as well as "dumping" some very odd packages out of the window, Turks were notorious for the contents of small cardboard boxes and plastic bags!

I was walking a four-legged friend some years back, strolling absent mindedly along when I was hit in the chest by a coke can half full of something or other to the delight of four grinning baseball caps in a car. I took some comfort from the fact that whatever the contents were, it was not warm, yuk!

Scratch - I agree about how flinging nastyness out of a truck window is nasty.  There were no marks on the truck as to which company he worked for, the how and i driving number was ripped off (just the part after 1-800) and i didn't think to get the liscense plate number and call it in I just wanted to get away and that is what i did, right past the 2 other dump trucks in front of this one.

I don't think that it was intentional, i just think he was doing what he always did when he had to go.  All i have to say is that i am damn glad that it was a coke bottle and not a glass bottle.  A long weekend of fishing and getting sun burnt has calmed me down, not to mention at least one shower a day   .

It's sad times where these two are mutually exclusive...

My workplace is on a large industrial estate just off the motorway. As you exit the motorway there is a major road junction with several sets of lights. Once or twice a week a poor unforunate soul from the local council is tasked to retrive the countless bottles of "Truckers Shandy" (as its known around here) that have been thrown onto the verge while the drivers are waiting at the first set of lights since leaving the M-way. At least the drivers have the sense not to throw them from the cab while moving. I walked past the junction the other week and the smell of pi** was overpowering.
