Those look like a classic case of "Objects in mirrors may be your elbows."

Eh...  They look about the same as the stock GS mirrors...   :dunno_white:

You should look for some 2nd Gen SV Mirrors...  They're sweet!

jjwalker98

I have but they're like $70-$80 new.  Can't find them used on ebay or svriders for some time now.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

Hmm...  They must be hanging out with the Katana Shock I can't seem to buy... :icon_confused:

Do you have NO MIRRORS?  If you have something, I'd just keep looking for 2nd Gen SV mirrors.  I found mine for about $25.

(I have my old GS mirrors (and Bluebellylint's old GS mirrors), but mine are pretty hosed (I tried to fix a buzzzzz in them... Don't ask).  So, if you have no mirrors at all send me a PM).

Thanks, I do have one (left).  I just would like to get another one.  I guess I'm just not patient enough.  Do you know if the sv650 second gen are rectangular or round?

Alpha, do those stick out enough so that you can actually see traffic?  I don't like the barend mirrors that I have, but I can't see crap with the stock ones, even if they would stay adjusted.

I adjusted mine so I get a pretty good view of what's behind me. A little bit is my elbows, but not much. What type of bar end mirrors do you have? Most people with bar end mirrors say they can see fine behind them, it just takes some getting used to looking down a little bit to do so.

I have cheap EMGO barends.  They work okay, but they vibrate like crazy because I don't have any barend weights.  They also tend to come loose no matter how much I tighten them.  They also look kinda' crappy, but so do all mirrors I guess....

Ahh, the Napolean ones? Those suck, I hear. The round ones from Lockhart Phillips or CRG are great though.

You won't be able to see anything behind you...but you'll always feel like you're in the jungle. And that is cool.
