What Im asking is, who makes them, I want one.

The reason for this is because Im watching it on speed (channel not the drug) and one guy layed his bike down and he and another guy just picked up the front of the bike and shook out the dirt in the fairing. So I'm guessing that they are really really really light.

So who makes these dream machines I want one

whats the reasoning behind not being able to not get them in the US

My Name Is Dave

I'd say money is why. Americans only like large-displacement, fully-faired bikes. In general, anyways. With the restrictions they have across the pond, smaller bikes get more love.

Man, I want some wine right now. Some pinot noir...yeah, that sounds nice

I don't think the CBR125R is a 125cc GP bike. GP bikes are two-strokes, that little CBR is a 4-stroke.

The KTM has 55 HP and weighs 136 KG minimum WITH RIDER.

The 250 is a twin cylinder of the 125 at 110 HP  101 KG dry.

Same bore and stroke as the 125 KTM motocrossers.

Stack the cylinders and build a 1 liter V8 with 440 HP.

I have good hook ups in Australia and Europe.  I can have one disassembled and shipped in packages to you...but you're looking at spending serious money for it.

The EU does still have some slick sport street legal 125 2strokes.
Probably will get killed eventually with emissions.

I wish when some one would call some one out, that they would at least try to offer some credible evidence suggesting other wise

Credible enough?  That's the H2 and GT 750 and RZ350 respectively...which are still very much legal.  On top of that:

I couldn't find better pics of it...hit google image and search "KX500 Street"

Displacement # of strokes has nothing to do with whether it's legal or not...there's plenty of other things that f%$k us over for the goodies, don't add to the list.

TadMC

I wasnt saying that you were fibbing. I just wanted to know.

It looks like there's no outright ban on 2-strokes in the US.  However, for a while, until 2006, all 2-stroke had to pass EPA certification (which is hard to do, because 2-strokes are fairly dirty).  However, 49cc and lower 2-strokes used to be except from EPA certification, which I guess they no longer are.  I believe older vehicles are also exempt (hence the bikes Mak pointed out).  I'm having a hard time finding the exact law, but that's what I pieced together.

There isn't really a law about it.  Anything that can pass emmissions, if it's a tested feature, and has a VIN and title can be made raod-legal easily.  If it doesn't have a VIN then you have to have a local cop sign off on it as road-safe.  This is why a dirtbike can be made road legal except in places like california and Houston and sch where the emmissions testing is mondo strict.
