just thought i'd drop in and say hi, i just picked up a 93 gs500 (which is my first streetbike) a few weeks ago...in the process of a DIY paint job

scratch

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

While the paintjob could use work, those wheels are NICE lookin. At least from the pics.

thanks guys,

i've got most of the body pieces sanded down, ready for primer, gonna start to tank soon as well...i'm either goin with black or red, haven't made up my mind  yet

this winter i'm most likely gonna refinish the frame, and powdercoat the wheels...for now i'm still trying to get the bike running good enough for regular use, and work on the paint when i can
