I just thought it'd be handy to have a place to put your experience with online stores up so others could reference it when shopping. It could save you some headaches!

www.twistedthrottle.com - I placed an order there a few weeks ago, still waiting on it... And their prices were far from competitive... The only place I could find a good rack, though (no pun intended).

www.bikebandit.com - I've ordered a number of OEM parts from them. Decent shipping, and pretty good customer service. They sent me a box leaking fluids, so I had to pick it up from the post office, but bikebandit is sending me another bottle with no hassle. That's cool.

http://www.helusa.com (performance brake lines) - I placed my order, and 20 minutes later the owner calls me with some questions, and tips, real friendly guy. I placed my order on a Thursday or Friday, and got it the next Monday. Excellent service and shipping! And the product looks well worth the price (can't wait to install it! Heard many good things).

mawonline (ebay store - I got progressive springs) - good price and quick shipping! I'd recommend them to anyone looking for progressives.

Those were the stores I've dealt with thus far. I'd like to see who others will praise and warn about so I can shop that much more informed  :icon_mrgreen:

I'd like to confirm this.  :thumb: I also did business with them recently and was surprised at the personal level of customer service. I'd do business with them again and reccomend them also. I'd also like to add:

www.newenough.com - done business with them on a few occasions, always very pleased with prices and products.

www.mrcycles.com - pleased with prices, products, and service
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

Avoid twsited throttle if at all possible

Nearly a MONTH since my order, after several phone calls (none of which were answered, and no messages returned), and several e-mails, I finally get a response -

"We're sorry, there has been a delay in the shipping.
it should be sent soon."

It HASN'T SHIPPED YET?!?!?

EDIT: I called, and someone finally answered the phone... They don't have the rack... The website said they had the racks, but they don't... I cancelled my order, and I'd better see that money back in my checking account pretty soon here ...

Anyone know of any other place I could find a decent luggage setup for a 2000 E? I'm looking for top and sides, hard cases with locks.

Hmm. That's weird. I ordered case guards from TwistedThrottle.com and they got to me in 6 days. 5 days shipping and 1 day order processing. They kept me posted with e-mails when it shipped out, too.
