But to be safe, here is what to do:

Remove:
Tail plastics
lower fairings
upper fairing
fairing bracket
headlight
reflectors
brake light
turn signals
license plate
passenger pegs
mirrors (come off with front fairing)
OEM bar end weights
stock bars

Add:
case gaurds
cheap bar end weights
cheap bars (Bikemaster, for example)

Fix:
Gauge cluster - Remove or tape over speedometer (don't want to look at it).
If speedometer removed -> Reposition tach into center of gauge area using cheap aluminum brackets
If speedometer taped -> Tape over speedometer entirely. Make sure tach is plenty visible. If you crash, the gauges may or may not get smashed depending on conditions.

Friggin sweet.
Although, doesn't it make you nervous to have the rectifier exposed?
And why don't you want to look at the speedo? I keep hearing that.

Because you go....

OMFG THAT IS FAST AND THAT CORNER IS VERY TIGHT! OMFG!!!!

Yeah that's about what happens.
Rich, RIP.

Naw. I don't feel so bad if the rectifier is there. My dad's is out in the open on his FZ1 and he hasn't had any problems. Plus, it's jut covered up by a thin layer of plasatic on our bike, not much protection from a serious hit.

Pretty much. If you're looking at the speedometer you're going too slow, typically. You shouldn't be concentrating on speed either, but rather on being smooth and your engine RPMs and when to shift and where to turn it, etc...

I lowsided. It got some "character" added to it, most notably the rash and the tuft of grass and dirt.
