Got a quick question for your suspension guru's out there.  I have read several post about the progressive springs and I have noticed that two different part numbers are mentioned / used.  So which one is correct?

111128

    OR

111138
?
Maybe the 28's are for 2002 and younger while the 38's are for 04's and up? :dunno_white:

Progressive doesn't even seem to know.

In their Product Search application, the GS500 does not appear in the MODEL list for any year after 2002. :dunno_white:

Believe it or not, the prgress web site mentions a heavy duty model of the springs for  riders over 200lbs. But I couldnt find much info on them.

You're right, but I think you mean the "pre '04" bikes.

Hmmm my 28's just came in Fedex today. . . will install them anyway.  If I don't like them or they don't work can always give them to a GS member and order the 38's.  Didn't realize that the front forks were different on +04's.

I don't think they are. I used RaceTech springs for an '01-'03 GS and they worked just fine.

Thats the number found on the site when I did a search yesterday. As I mentioned above, they said something about HD springs for the gs but dont list a part number for them.
If they were available, Im sure they would probably have a spring rate close to the sonics or racetech springs.
Ay, I said "close", Alpha
