Trade it in.  It'll be cheaper.

Faster (top end) or quicker (bottom end)?

For quicker: 14 tooth countershaft sprocket.  It'll only set you back $20.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Actually... I think it might work both ways since the GS is power limited to top speed. ;)

go to a superbike riding school and learn to ride fast then worry about how fast a GS can be :thumb:

How much $$$ ya got?

Yes you can install another head but it will have to be highly modified. The largest piston in stock sleeves is 79mm The sleeves will subject to damage from being so thin. Good luck finding any more 79's though, they have not been made since '92. But 78mm pistons can be easily had, I did a post about this.
Common sense in not very common.

and it should be noted that after all this work he did...the sv650's still dominate his race class...

I was just about to say that...

I think the best thing to do for a sleeper is to make an SV650 look like something slower.  Or make a GSXR look more like a GS500.
