Hey

I've been hearing a front end buzz at around 5K RPMs lately.  Very regular... kicks in at (approximately) 4800-5200.  Sounds like... well, like a blender, but much softer... quiet over the engine noise, but I notice it anyways.  Any ideas?

Depends on where the buzz originates, but since it's RPM related it's in all likelyhood the enigne.

Which is totally normal.

Thanks.  I won't worry about it then.

Well, yes and no. It's normal for the tank to resonate at around 5000 RPM, but it shouldn't generate much of an audible noise. This indicates that something about the elastic support of the tank is amiss. So check if all the rubber elements are where they belong.
