Hmm good idea.. just mount a swivelling (is that a word?) screen to your helmet!  That way at stop lights you just rotate it in front of you, and when it's green just put it to the side!

I will take one of each.

..eh make that two of the flexible one if its poseable.  :)

When necessary, you can order a small latte, with a two extra shots.

I keep a can of Starbucks Doubleshot in the tankbag, for when I have to ride to a customer site first thing.   I just drink it while stowing my gear.

You cannot escape our master plan!

Dude.

I can't believe the cupholder thread can rival a turbo thread..... BWAHAHAHAHA

We are such old farts.

Does it make me ghey that I looked at that magnetic one and went, "Wow that's a freaking great idea!" Yeah it probably does. I'll be riding a fracking Goldwing before I know it. But hey so long as in the winter I get those 94 eletric heating thingies. (The part of me that freezes the worst are, well my unmentionables. Having it be a little bit warmer sure would improve my quality of life.)

OMG I'm like 20, I shouldn't be thinking about these things!

Are Goldwings not ghey if you put a turbo on them?

Laugh if you must, it's a problem for us addicts.

Typical work day in the car, I get a 20 oz Starbucks Latte on the way in, drink at my desk. Later in the day I might go get another, 10-15 minutes, tops.

On the bike, I have to find a Starbucks that's not too crowded, sit down and drink it there. About a half hour of time lost, making me a lot later to work. Later in the day, same thing, lots of time blown.

More than once I've gotten in line at Starbucks, and when I've gotten my drink, all the seats are taken. Then I'm standing with this big paper mug in one hand, I can't leave and I can't sit down. I've learned if it's too crowded, and I'm on the bike, not to even try.

None of the thermos bottles they sell there are even big enough for a single 20 oz latte. They're almost all a half-liter... call it 16 oz.

Even if I take a larger thermos bottle in, order my latte and decant it into the thermos, it won't fit in my tank bag. I'll have to either wear a pack just for that, or attach more luggage.

Seems trivial, but it's stuff like this that keeps bikes recreational machines, and keeps people buying cars even if they ride.

sit on the curb and drink your 10 dollar coffee beside your bike and pick up yuppie girls who's boyfriends are afraid motorcycles will break their manicured nails.
