Search !!! Yes, I am finally the first one to post that.

but basically from all the wheelie threads

1. get bike around 5-10mph

2. clutch in

3. rev to around 7k

4. clutch out

5. hope it wheelies

I never have been able to, well at least not yet  :icon_confused:

another suggestion was to put some weight on the front wheel and bounce it up as you clutch out.

Put it on the center stand then lean back.  It's a pretty small wheelie, but it will be on the back wheel.    :thumb:

i have a little crest that i like to do wheelies from, basically straight out of a small round about, coming in hot, i compress the front and bounce it up and pull back. the front is off and soon as the bike goes over the crest on the rear wheel, its high enough to keep it there.
i don't like the clutch method as it happens quite quickly and you have to be quite fast with your controls but its doable with out a doubt, and practice makes perfect,
its a shame the gs doesn't have just a little more so we could just power it up, its a whole nicer feeling.
good luck, try not to crap off :thumb:

You're right.  It wouldn't be a GS500 anymore.

It'd be the first GSbusa :)

Don't forget about Alpha's post about the 14T front sprocket, if your not to big you probably can do wheelie's in second gear too!
Being naked was great, but now that I'm older I thought I should cover up!!!!

Mods?  What mods, no really its stock!!

Not exciting enough huh, you could dig a small hole under your rear tire.  The front should come up higher while on the center stand.
