So, there you have it. Srinath's flange installed. Changed oil, rejetted (as an odd success story, I actually used dynojet's 04-05 kit with the largest mains that came with it). Sounds good, runs great.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

Whooo hooo ...
Nice carbon can ... You have any issues ??? I see that you put a muffler clamp on there ... how loose was it ??? See somehow the muffler pipe seems to have gotten a hair bigger than last time. People were all complaining that it was waaaay too tight. I buy the same pipe this time too (maybe the muffler shop changed brands of pipe ??? - not sure) ... and the new ones all see to be a hair bigger ... Now I thought my header had a hair more wear on it from fitting 100's of these ... but nope ... its a bit loose ... great ... Oh yea cram it tight with like muffler tape or paint the inside and outside of the slip joint with header paint ... or tack it on and lose the muffler clamp if you wanna have extra sealed up joints.
I'd like to hear from you guys installing it ... cos it all works great for me ...  O0 ... Its gotta work for you ... that's what counts.
Cool.
Srinath.
