Shop around at the breakers or try to find some GS racers. They usally cut the passenger section off the bike and have them laying around.

After getting a price from the breakers, let us know so we can determine what's most cost effective for you.

USPostal to the UK should not be terrible, but one never knows. You also have to figure the method of payment also.

I always have trouble getting the local stores to accept Euros and Pound Sterling -- even though they are worth more than our US$ at the moment.  <i joke - ha ha>

Phil,
Try the breakers mate, I got a footrest for a bike once, forget what it was, they wanted £1 for it,  I haggled and ended up getting both sides. They are not sought after items so they are dirt cheap, dont forget the pin that holds it to the frame and you will need a new split-pin also. Hmmmzz choped the back section off his GS, I know he is relatively local to you, and he might have one.

Hmm, Might just try contacting HmmmZ.

If not I guess your right, breakers yard it is.
The pin on my bike wasn't held in with a split pin but with an 'E' clip.
They don't work very well, My pillion peg fell off. Did I mention that?

I think I'll put the new one on with a bolt and a nylock nut.

i have a pair off a 03 R-6 on there right now, they don't look that bad and are alot smaller than the stock ones, they fit really tight and have a bolt/nut solution instead of the silly pin that falls out.
the left side of the bike is always from the riders point of view.
