GS500 Wiki

Can you guys owners of gstwin.com add a subDomain 'wiki.gstwin.com' with forwarding to 'http://cgi.stanford.edu/~sanjayd/gs500';? It's really easy to do via the hosting control panel (go to Admin/Domains/Add Subdomain/Forward to, or I can help.).

That will GREATLY reduce pains to type that long wiki URL. I am recently contributing a lot to Wiki (from different PCs) and have to go to this forum to fish out the Wiki URL all the time. Royal pain.

My Bikes On The Wiki!! Famous At Last . Its The Naked Nexxus lol , As It Goes For Headlight Conversions , I had a few teething Problems, eg the high and low beam was the wrogn way round , part from that , sound as a pound

Congrats!  Although anybody can edit the wiki and put their bike on, at least yours has a legit reason.  I had to put the 20 pictures of Alpha's bike from the Case Guards section on a separate page.

In Fairness , I Was Going To Do It , coz u had one pic of the nexxus , and i think its the older one , mines slightly different , its a 2007 Motad ,but i was very honored when it i saw it , wait until my other mods are done , and ill laughin

It's a testament to your contributions!  I'm still behind on putting all of MikeT's, Pablo's, Kerry's, etc. articles on there.  But yeah, you "helpful" people are going to be on there one day, like it or not   

But seriously, if anyone has objections to their stuff on the wiki, just let me know or you can even remove it yourself.

So you bought a GS500E and want to turn it into a GS500F? There are a few threads about doing that, try using the search bar with words like 'conversion E to F' or 'front fairing addition' or similar. This thread isn't really for specific help, but to point people towards an information source for the GS500 which is similar to wikipedia.

Yeah reminor let me know about it yesterday (thanks!), and I hadn't seen it.  I'm working on a fix.  In the meantime, if you see random crap on there, just click on 'edit' at the top of the page and delete it.

Edit:  I think I fixed it by fixing the "require an author name" portion (which was broken before).  So if the spambots get smarter, I'll have to think of something else.  In the meantime, I'd appreciate some help cleaning it up.  Go to:

And everything modified since October without an author has been spammed.  Click on a page, click on 'edit', and delete the spam.  Any help by anyone would be appreciated.
