Interesting seeing those pics. My 97 is going to look fairly close to them. Same 04 tank, 05 tail and black frame but with Kat forks, silver wheels and a dual headlight. Probably going to try to cut in a GSXR/TL brake light.

I've  been thinking of doing the same thing to my bike. 04 blue gs.
I hate the white tail piece. Where did you get the paint to match the tank?
Is that a Suzuki head light or an after market. Any links for parts.
I use my bike mostly for commuting and ride year around. I would like to put a better windshield on it. Naked is the only way I can do that.

Puig makes a windshield for the "F" models, though its not a huge improvement over stock from what I hear.

Alpha's headlight is a stock GS500 headlight.  He swapped tail plastics with someone with a 2005 GS500 to get the blue tail.

Yeah, except mine is an '05 tank!  The '04 tanks had a black center stripe, whereas the '05 had a light blue.

What dualy headlight are you going to run? The Dominators? Those look fantastic.

Yep, using a Dominator in Black. FlyNCylce has them for $110. But I need to fabricate some brackets for the 41mm forks.

I really like the Dominators, but a guy here in the sportbike club I'm a part of has them on his SV... and I wouldn't want to look like I was just copying him after all.

It was still better than the $80 red tank I have. Eventually I will fix the other tanks I have. Sometimes I get some good deals, like the Black & Gray wheel chock I won last night for $0.99. I do not need it since I already have one but they sell for $60 new.

What are on my mind right now are Pazzo levers... If I work 10 hours of overtime I could pretty much buy them without taking too deep of a hit to my regular paycheck. I'll be getting 5 hours of overtime this week at least, so I'm most of the way there. Just need to decide wether I can afford the $160.

Yeah, $160 shipped is a hell of a lot, but the bling is serious, and the adjustability would be awesome.

Probably not going to get them. Can't justify the cost right now, as I need to start saving my money (school, new bike next winter, whatever).
