I was at the bike shop today and I saw a GS parked out front that had flush mounted turn signals. By time I made it back out the bike was gone and I didn't see who was riding it to ask where he got them. I REALLY liked the look of them. Does anyone know where I could get a set?

I have an '06 and I can't find anything for it I want to change out the stock turn signals also do they make any flush mount ones that just bolt right up with any modification?

Not really most flush mounts are universal.  Have you looked at any of the mini stalks turn signals?  MY OPPINION (sp? ) you didn't ask but flush mounts are not very visable during the day.  Like say your making a left hand turn and you want the car heading in your direction to know you are making a left hand turn, those flush mounts will be hard to see during the day.

If ur talking about the rear signals, the sweetest way is to do away with the rear signals all together and integrate them into your tail light.  just look up integrator in the search.  then chop that &^&%$ fender right of with a sharp object. Prefferably an axe.

I was actually able to see in person an integrated turn signal a couple days ago.

It was VERY difficult to figure out where the guy wanted to turn.  I actually had to concentrate harder on the taillights.

There you go thinking again....  :icon_mrgreen:

Seriously, I've never seen anyone with flushmounts or integrated signals where I could tell if or in which direction they were turning.  But hey, it ain't my life....

Sorry, but from someone who rides a bike,  that sounds a little hypocritical.  Not that you can't ride safely, but we all realize that by merely riding the bike you sacrifice safety for pleasure.  13' of less blinkers = more riding enjoyment for me.  I'd understand the "hey it ain't my life" from a cager,  but not from someone who's witnessed the hidiousness of the stock turn signals.  peace.

Yeah, anything but stalked signals are just dangerous IMO.  As other have said before, any non-biker can't tell the difference between a Ninja 250 and a Busa, so why would they notice how bitchin your bike looks without turn signals?  The only people that might notice is other bikers and I seriously doubt they'd call up all of their friends to tell them about the bitchin GS500 with integrated signals.

I think its pointless.  I moved my signals up on the back fender directly under the tail so I could chop the entire fender off.  The rear of my bike looks clean, but I'm sure you've looked at my avatar a hundred times and you haven't gotten all upset at the "hideousness" of the stock signals.

i dont know i have flush mounts on mine and them things are bright as hell . there not hard to mount . just a small drill bit and about 30 to an hour of your time :) i use to have picks not any more ..i might take one today :)

They're fugling hidious.  But hey, I don't like the turn signals and you don't like the fairings.  We both customize our rides to enjoy them more.

Removing my fairings might not aid in getting me killed.

Flush mounts in the front on bad, get the mini stalk turn signals they look good  :thumb: Got them on my GS.  I have the intergrated turn / brake light in the back.  I always double tap my breaks when I'm slowing down or getting ready to turn to " Flash my break light" then turn on my turn signal.  If the person doesn't notice the flashing break light's and the yellow flashing turn signal from that then well they are not paying enough attention driving and I'll be up shaZam! creek anyway.

Are they safe / not safe compared to stock turn signals, don't really care the stocks one's are safe but damn they are ugly.  Will I get rear ended because of it I doubt it.  It's more likely I would get rear ended because some ass wasn't paying attention to driving and was talking on their cell phone.

Ooooh, I do like the looks of your bike's tail :)

Did you do that yourself? And where'd you put the license plate?

Not sure how Turd did his but this is how I did mine.  Cut your fender off.  Flip over your stock license plate bracket it will fit perfectly.  Would look like this.
