Where to get fairings????

Well I recently picked up an '05 GS500F, it has 2000 miles on it and I only paid $3000. It is blue and white, I really prefer the all blue model that was made in '04. From the looks of it all I have to do is change my white '05 side fairings with some blue '04 side farings and I would get what I want. Does anyone know where I can get some fairings for a decent price or does anyone here have some extra ones they want to sell??

Are you referring to the color match, or just the sticker scheme?

Alpha got an '05 blue tail for his '04 blue GS...  Pretty close match IMO.

And for the record...  I tried to find the tail fairings first, but Alpha got lucky and traded with someone else before I could get at 'em.

my mistake...on suzuki's site the colors were drastically different so I just assumed.  pay no mind

I am positive that the stickers don't match the tank tho...  it's gonna be a bit funky lookin until you replace the fairing stickers

I was planning on changing the stickers on the tank, but I need to find the fairings first.

Good luck with that.  The stickers on the tank are UNDER the clearcoat.

If you find a way to remove them (easily) please let me know.  I'd like to remove ALL stickers from my GS

Well, wort case scenario, I could just put the new stickers overtop of the old ones, they are the same shape and size.

The '05 tank has a light blue center stripe and the '04 has a black center stripe.

The 04 fairings will come in blue and the 05 will come in white pre-painted from suzuki.  Decals you have to order seperatly.  I think I'll start sanding my rear plastics soon gonna repaint them white.  GL on your fairings

Not your fault. Suzuki's website sucks for finding out what color their bikes are. The '06 GS500Fs are a deep metallic navy blue. On their site they look teal. wtf?

Yeah the colors are really bad on Suzuki's site.  I usually check one of the paint supplier websites to get a more accurate color swatch.  The ones on http://cgi.stanford.edu/~sanjayd/gs500/Main/Colors are compiled from several different sites, but colors and years are only as accurate as what the paint sites tell us.

He already offered, but that was when I was trying to get my GS fixed in time for the MSF ERC course.  And now that school will be starting again in two weeks, I don't wanna start anything I can't finish.  I'm hoping once school starts and everything settles down, I can do the swap.
