Good rain tires?

I've gotta get new tires soon, and I'll probably still have them when it starts raining later in the year. What are some good tire choices for the rain? I've got Sport Demons currently, and I've been very happy with them in dry conditions.

I've ran both the BT-45's and the Avon Am45/46's, the past two rainy seasons and they were fine.  A little more partial to the Avons, but we'll see about the new BT's with the suspension set up the same way.

Wow, I seem to have forgotten to follow up on my data collection as to how the second set of BT's were...

One thing I will note, though, is that I'm on my second set of Avon AM26's, and there is a huge difference between the old and new tires.  Apparently, I really wore out the sides of the front tire to a point - a v-shape - and the new tires feel subtantially slower in turn-in.

Another good point, is that I did NOT get that feeling from going from an old pair of BT's to a new pair.  Hmmm...now that's something to think about.

On my ninja 250 I had sport demons year round.  They were quite good in the rain, same as my bt45s were.  Sport demons aren't great in the snow (twice, oops). 

Don't know if the GS would be much different than the ninja.

I rode about 100-150miles in the rain on an earlier trip this year. The sport demons I had on my GS did just fine. I was very pleased with them. I used the BT45's a couple years ago before the sport demons and they did okay too. 
So far the only thing I've ever had tractions issues with is antifreeze and fine road salt in curves.
