546 lbs wet, 167 HP...  3.27 lbs/HP.  :o  0-60 in 2.8 seconds...

Everything adjusts and changes depending on the rider(s)...  An "Info" screen with fuel level, gear selection, odometer, oil temperature, and chassis/suspension settings.

This thing is just ridiculous!!!!

For the low, low MSRP of $15,800.   :cookoo:

Not that bad for some of the finest engineering of any vehicle on the road.  That is seriously my ULTIMATE dream bike.

Just think what kind of Harley, under-engineered clunky peice of crap $15,000 could buy you.  Not a whole lot.

Well...  You know MSRP isn't what you pay for anything...   :icon_rolleyes:

But, still...  I think $10k is too much for something that some stupid kid can tip over and break.

Alphamazing

I almost traded my GS in for a brand new DRZ400SM the other day. Then I realized that if I did I'd have to pay $2k or so to own it, so I changed my mind.

those bikes are crazy, there is a Dr. here that has one.  I jokingly asked him if he would trade and he said yeah, if i did all his yardwork for 10yrs.  He is a cool guy, he might just let me ride it one of these days

I saw on a K1200S at the local dealer the other day.  It's actually one of the few BMWs I can fit on  :)

If I had money to burn, I'd get one any day.  Stick some hard cases on it, and I'd be good to go.  Felt really comfortable, too.

They threw in some hard cases and a GPS...  BASTARD!!!    :icon_mrgreen:

so basically youd have to take your eyes off the road to look at a screen for this info, thats like gps, i thnk the last thing id want to do is take my eyes off of the road specially on a motorcycle, and btw the bmw boxer engine is based as well on an old design

Hey dude...  I didn't buy it.

I don't even take my eyes off the road to look at my speedo...  OK, I do... But, I'm gonna try excuse that when I get pulled over.

yamahonkawazuki

ehh i like gadgets on a bike rofl, but some of these are imho stupid, basically unless the gps has voice prompts which tehy do people WILL take their eyes off of the road to see what it is telling them as well as hear it. all i need on a bike is 1 a speedo (basically to make it legal here), 2. a tach. not necessary, but ehh i like em, ;erhaps a volt meter, but that is for prob solving (bike having issues you want to see what system is putting out. but i need no radio, gps etc :thumb:

I was thinking about getting one just for the recording function...  'cause sometimes I get REALLY lost when I ride by myself...  At least I could pull over and see where the hell I am and how to get back.

But...  @ 50 MPG and $3/Gal....  Riding around until I figure out where I am is a lot cheaper than a GPS.

pantablo

good point, but the gps is handy when you're trying to tell the tow truck operator where you are, in the middle of bfn. we had to do this twice so far, giving the gps coordiantes to the driver...
