These days, I'm sure a lot of tow trucks have GPS...  I mean, they don't cost that much and they can save you crap-loads of time...  And Time = Money

I can put my gps on the big numbers mode, were it shows speed in big numbers so its easier to read than the speedo, not to mention the accuracy.

Mine is essential to find my truck when I'm trail riding in the woods. :thumb:

I mounted my Garmin eTrex Vista C on the handlebars of my GS Last weekend.  My plan was to track the route we took and also to check the speedometer.  GPS handled the vibrations of the GS for about 15 minutes.  Now it won't turn on.   :cry:

You have to use foam rubber in the clamps. and on the whole mounting thing....

I use their u-bolt clamp GPS mount for my eTrex Legend CX on my GS500.  I've ridden about 6-800 miles with it on their so far.  It's very secure, and you can rotate and tilt the cradle however you want it.  It was about $35 from www.gpscity.com.
