I woke up Sunday and decided that I wanted to eat at a resturant called Saskatoons http://www.saskatoonrestaurant.com/

So my wife, dad and I went up on our bikes.  Greensville, SC is only about 150 miles or so from Atlanta, on the way we stoped at a Cracker Barrel for some lunch where my wife had , 3 eggs, grits , full order of sausage, bacon and biscuits and gravy ( yeah she can eat and not gain any weight ).  It rained on and off the whole trip but we never really got wet.

Passed alot of motorcycle's on the way heading to Atlanta, probally to the races.  Once we hit the SC border 2 busa's and 2 other sportbike riders passed us, one of the guys on a CBR did a stand up wheelie.  Rest of the ride was uneventful.

Got to Saskatoon's had Emu, Elk, buffalo ( was very good ) and ardicoke spinich dip for appitizer ( wife likes veggies agghhh).  Anyway for diner she had the Elk, with Creme of Portabella Mushroom soup with Garlic mashed patatoes.  I had the ostrich with house salad, and my dad had the special buffalo center wraped in bacon.

All the food tasted really good, and sense we were riding we didn't have any wine or beer ( a shame but not risking drinking and riding ).  Had a great time, walked around to let the food settle, then rode back to Atlanta.  On the ride back I figured I'd get gas at about 140 miles on the odometer but my dad pulls next to me and signals he needs gas.  So at the next gas station we pull over, he almost made it but ran out as we pulled into the parking lot.  I keep forgetting he gets less milage than I do  :icon_mrgreen:.

Never rained once on the way back.  Had a fun time even if we didn't hit the mountains yesterday, dinner was great.  Today we are renting a boat I think.  Will find out about availability in 5 more min's.  If no boat then it's the mountains today.

Oh if anyone lives near that resturant you should really try it out.  Dinner for 3 was $125.00 with no alcohol.

Sounds like a blast, although I hate you.  You HAD to bring up the subject of FOOD!! :nono:  I'm trying to lose weight, and EVERYONE keeps talking about food.  And I have a weak stomach.  Everytime it's around food or hears about food, it wants to devour everything.

Oh, and what's with your wife?  Who in their right minds eats veggies?!?!?!  Seriously, Some veggies are awesome depending on how they're prepared.  Artichokes are not one of my favs though.

WUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those meals sound fine as a melon on a vine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I "was going" to go on a ride yesterday down that old river road toward New Orleans but when I got to the river, CLOUDS of lovebugs were EVERYWHERE. Hitting me in my glasses, helmet, and even between the knuckles. They are nasty little bastards and play hell with a paint job. I turned around and hauled-ass to the house. Does anyone else anywhere have similiar bugs this time of year? When we paint the house or do ANY painting we make SURE to do it before "lovebug season". Tad can tell you about the nuisance...........How are they over in Lafayette? They get so bad sometimes that your face shield will be BLACK with their smeared bodies and you'll be riding like you're covered in a damn blanket.
Taxes are Good. Millions that have been on Welfare for the last 30 years are depending on you. Also Millions that are coming over the border each year are depending on YOU.
Also taxes will fix our shitty schools and roads that have been broken for 40+ years.

You really don't get it do you???

Damn dude, that sounds like tons of fun! I can't wait to get my bike running again so we can go riding! I miss riding so much.. and the food doesn't sound half bad either.. And OMW, we get the lovebugs pretty bad down in florida. We also have a season where we get giant clouds of gnats.. I don't know what kind of gnats or why they're there, but even if you're just jogging, they coat you, you inhale them, it's gross...

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.
