What is the easiest way to drop like an inch on my 06 GS500F? I can already touch, I just think it'd be more comfortable if I could do it flat foot with both.

Find yourself some longer dogbones or your could possibly make them. If you look around ebay, you could probably find some.    O0

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

I installed these on my daughter's bike and they lowered it about an inch. She is 5'3" and now can seat flat footed.

You can also shave the seat and that will give you some inseam lenght.

UMMMKKK!!!!

Next time I make a purchase I will ask for permission from the motorcycle posting vets of the forum...  :bs:

Was not aware of the seniority posting rights... :cookoo:

:thumb: By the way it is my daughter's bike; I just happen to be the one who turn wrenches on it. That should have given you a clue of my age. I am a seasoned different kind or rider, however I still find entertaining helping other brother bikers and to respond silly cyber hating posts...

Dude.. CTFO... he was just saying that you're lucky to have gotten one, not saying that you can't have it cuz you're a newer member. Sheesh.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

My rides are mostly south of Tacoma...

Ranier, Pacific Shore, St. Helen, 101 shore loop, Oyster Run, Tulip Fest

and the occasional rally's Yakima, Oregon, Montana etc.

Planning on doing Laconia, Sturgis, Daytona, Myrtle Beach a year from now... :thumb:

I want to check all these out......  I've wanted to do the Rainier loop for a while now...

Sturgis huh?  You must ride a HD with a Tupperware® Yarmulke and a leather vest.    :icon_mrgreen:

YUP!

  That's me...

Probably could not keep up on the twisties up Ranier cause my floorboards would be grinded to tiny little metal flakes...

They make for great sparklers!!!!

Eh...  It's not always about going fast.  On my B-Day some of us went up to HW-20...  In the beginning, I was just putting along at Limit+5...

When we stopped, everyone asked, "WTF?  Why are you going so slow?"   I said, "I thought we were out for a cool scenic ride in a new area, so I'd take it easy..."  They looked at me like I'd lost my mind.  Hmm... OK...  I guess people wanna fly...

So, I played, "Try to catch me Buddha Loves You!" in the 30-40 MPH sweepers on HW-20.  My buddy on the SV kept up pretty well...  But, my brain damage keeps me going faster through the whole corner...  Hitting the 40 MPH @ 60-70 and leaving it at 80 or 90.  :nono: :cookoo: :icon_rolleyes:

If I had my M50, I'd grind some floor boards with ya'!  O0 :thumb:

Maybe I'll have it next year.  :icon_mrgreen:
