That's a very very good price and it looks like it's in very good condition from those pictures.  Rusty stock exhausts go for that much all the time, so yeah, it's a good deal.  It's probably stolen or something

um that's a steal. They don't make yoshi pipes anymore for gs500. Yoshi is considered the most powerful exhaust for gs500. I got mine used for $210. At $50 you're really robbing him.

I am surprised to hear that he sold it to me after having an arranglement already made with somebody else.
He strikes me as a great guy with high ethics. Not sure what the deal was there.

Well, if you give it to me, I'll put it on and let you know. 


If you're putting on a pipe, you're gonna need a rejet...  And if you're gonna rejet, you might as well change out the stock airbox...

There are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of threads on the topic...  But, if all else fails you can take the new jets, pipe, and filter to a shop and have them put it all on.
