I took the intermediate MSF Course on Sunday.  The course basically reduces the beginners course to one day.  The morning was classroom and the afternoon was riding. There were twelve people signed up but only eight showed up.  I was the only non Harley.     I also had the most miles ridden, 3,600 since last September.  The exercises were interesting and mostly fun.

The best and last was an optional exercise where you did two U turns in a box 44 feet long and 18 feet wide.  You had to do it by counterbalancing and not putting your feet down.  I almost got it.   The instructor did it on a Harley with extended front forks; his bike was 8 ft long.

I would recommend this course to riders that have ridden a thousand miles or so, one year of experience or less and never took the beginner course.
