Can anyone recommend where I can find a front extender fender for my new gs500,nobody seems to make one. :?

Suzuki makes them.

I have a 2001 and wanted to keep the road debris off of the engine so I ordered the fender extender from the dealer (about $20).

I believe I asked for a 1998 model (not sure when they stopped putting them on the bikes). I didn't want to drill holes in the fender (that's how they normally mount) so I just used some contact cement. The extender is designed with a recessed area so the outside of the fender and the extender are flush.

The only down side to gluing it is (well at least with contact cement, because you have to put glue on both surfaces) you had to remove the fender. Removing wasn't too bad because you could to that with the wheel in place. Unfortunately I think it would be near impossible to reach the nuts on the bottom of the fender with the front wheel on. So it had to come off for the reinstall.

Dana out.
