Actually when I was travelling in Europe .. I'd always say I was Canadian ... seemed to get a better response .. esp from the Romans

A friend of mine said that another biker told him about the stickers and he started freaking out about the stupidity of it.  I had heard that this was possible, but since I'm no industrial engineer I have no idea if it's possible or not.  I just wanted to prove his ignorance for flying off the handle over something so stupid w/o even doing a little research on it first.

Scratch you lost me; are you saying that if you wax the helmet first then add the stickers then it'll be fine?

Thats ok, but if really want hello kitty on your helmet it might be easier to get it air brushed on

but no SERIOUSLY,
The adhesive of some stickers is an acetate polomer (aka acidic) and can break down plastic nylon compounds. I havn't a clue to what helmets or what stickers have this resedue on the back of them.....Just put the sticker on your jacket
