Hey Guys,

Well, after a trip from CT and my beloved EX500 breaking down on the I95 at 2am, I figured I must search for another bike. IT just so happens I got myself a GS500.

Great machine!

Does anyone know how to tighten the piece that holds the engine shutoff button/start button? It swivels around and sometimes makes the bike idle too high? Allen wrench?

If anyone wants to ride in NYC or Long Island, Shoot me back!

If i could figure out how to post a pic of my bike I would.

I hate to say this, but if it's moving around, it will have to be replaced to get it to stop.  You can try tightening the two screws on the bottom, but it probably won't help much.  There is a tab that goes into a hole in the handlebar that is broken off.
Sorry, I won't answer motorcycle questions anymore.  I'm not f%$king friendly enough for this board.  Ask me at:

or

Welcome!

Tightening the screws will help keep it from spinning on the bar (but will allow it to spin instead of break in a crash).
