Is that reflective rim tape ? I've wondered about putting some of that on mine. Just haven't really worked out a way to make it REALLY flashy. Maybe only tape 1/2 or 1/3 of the wheel so as it spins it's an eye catcher?

Nice looking bike as is, but my preference is the fairing ripped off. :)

I like it. The rim tape especially.

Was it a pain to put on?

looks like an almost stock f-model with reflective tape... I guess it's the tape on the bar ends that makes is so special, eh?

the GS500F is wierd because at some angles it looks sweet but at other it looks like a gs with a big old fat head and little tiny body they didnt make it proportionate.  it looks good with a rider on it , not so great without one.
1991 Suzuki GS500E , a bunch of crap done to it :)

What's so great about this thing again?  Maybe some decent pictures of the thing in daylight and off the deck could help show whatever you're on about here.

Not really...  You just need some patience  (sp).

ohgood - I'd recommend getting the rimtape from www.tapeworks.com.  It's a little thicker than www.planetsuperbike.com, but it goes with the bike.  A friend of mine got his tape from planetsuperbike for his CBR600rr, and it's about half the size.  At first I liked it, but after looking at it for a couple days, I liked mine better.  Also, he ordered the tape he week before I did, and *I* got mine in before he did.  He had to wait about 3-4 weeks for his order to come in.

*Ahem*

Talk to me when you get some clip-ons and fatty-boom-batty white wheels (which are a pain in the ass to keep clean, by the way).  The only thing my old GS was lacking was a black frame.

Dude, whoever re-animated this thread needs to be shot.

BTW I still say that if it is air cooled it should not be in an enclosure. (Using cars as a defense is lame too.. We all know bikes > cages )
Rich, RIP.

don't h8. I like it An, looks studly and sporty, like circa 1980s adidas in NYC.

A black frame AND a silver engine.
