Have to buy jacket, tank bag and other items.  Has anyone made a comparison of prices in Australia versus U.S. Going to Hawaii in September so could buy there if cheaper.  Any advice?

Not so sure HI would be much cheaper.  From my understanding things on the islands are more expensive than the mainland here in the US.  You would still be paying for the items to get to HI.  Just a thought.  You'd probably do better in Australia when comparing to HI.

U.S prices are far cheaper even with the exchange rate at present. Not Sure about Hawaii however, it may be like trying to buy fuel in the Aussie outback, you know the added cost of getting it there etc!

For example I am looking at buying a Shoei TZ-1 Shogun, here in Australia they are AUS$699 in America they are US$289 which is equal to AUS$428 - even if you allow $70 for shipping you still save AUS$200!

Like I said before in another post, Australia is getting ripped off in everything, computers, cars, motorbikes, clothes, anything and everything! A Suzuki SV650 are $11900 here in Australia, what are they in America? like $6000?  A BMW Z3 in Australia is almost $90,000 in America they are $35,000!

I buy nearly everything I can from America, I just bought a Fuji digital camera that retail for AUS$1699 here for AUS$1050 shipped from America!

Buy American and support their economy!  :thumb:  Australia is a HUGE rip-off!

Dont get me started on the Fuel!

Stay Safe!
