No Problem Jake. It'll be right here when your Ready. :thumb:I just have had a Chance to get the Motor out.Oops I guess I let one Catout of the Bag.

Oh yeah Jake It looks like I don't have a Spare Clutch push Rod.As I was taking the Chain and Sprocket off of the GS last Night I pulled the Push rod and it looks to be Roughly the Same Measurements as the T500.I'll do some scrounging to see if they Interchange. ;)

I don't think it'll run without the cylinders... :icon_confused:

werase643

Just the 2 engine mounts?
one front/one rear?
if yes, should be cake to fab in

slap a chain in there and get an idea for left/right alignment
looks like ya might have some issues with the kick lever.  I know, better when the rear is jacked up

how is the C/S sprocket location....height and fwd/aft compare to the GS location?

going with custom expansion chambers or modified A/M  or try to fit modified stockers?

Actually It's not going to run on Cylinders. It's what I call the New Rub or Stroke.I just Haven't Gotten the New Fangled Perpetual Motion Rubber Bands Milled out yet.  :thumb:

In Other Words Vert -------- "No shaZam! Sherlock"

I need to go to the machine Shop tomorrow Some time and Weasel my Cylinders back out  to test the Fit on the Height.I have a Spare set of Stock Cylinders in Moo Nexico at John Aylors that I need to have Shipped back.I may run it stock until I can get the reed setup Finished.  :thumb:

Ken the Placment of the Sprocket couldn't be in a Sweeter Spot.It doesn't look much Different than the GS Location.I was going to Adapt the Front Sprocket Down to 520 to save justt a Tad on the Horsepower but desided to stick wih a 530 Chain Since I found a 530 Rear Sprocket from a GSXR750 Cheaper than I could have found a Front 520. I have Plenty of room to slide it from side to side to make up te Difference.

The Mounts are a Different Story.I can Attach the rear mount with two "Straps" bolted to the rear mounts and Have a Hole Drilled in the Middle of them to hold the Rear Bolt. The Front looks like it wil work but since I have Plenty of room underneath I may Cut them off and Drop the whole thing Down a Little.there is a Third Mount on the Bottom but it doesn't come Anywhere near the Bottom mount. The One on the Bottom of the ase is Located almost Directly in the Curve of the Frame.
when I get the Cylinders tomorrow I know I'm going to find that the Had Pipes are going to Meet right in the Middle of the Frame Down tubes.   I know I'm not going to be Able to get by without some Major Frame Mods in the Front.

Chambers. well Hopefully I'll be Able to Fabricate my own up.I know any of the Aftermarket Pipes are going to Choke what horsepower I'm going to me Making with the Reeds. If I can get enough Money Ahead I may buy a set of Swarbrick Kits to see if they will be Anywhere Near the Angles that I need.Either way I'm going to pay out the Nose to get them Welded up Probably enough to Invest in Either a Tig Welder or a Henrob Torch Setup.Who Knows I might be Able to Sweet talk Zook-e into Helping me get a set fixed for it.

Ken it may be Possible to Offset the Exhaust headers somehow. If push comes to shove it looks like I may have to do te frame like this

I figure after the Center Blue Braces are welded in I would remove the Outer Down tubes and Maybe add Bracing at the top and Bottom of the X somehow. :icon_confused:

Nah don't make it any more difficult that you have to...what you really need to be doing is finding a T500 frame to cut the engine cradle out of.  A propper motorcycle odd-engine swap is pretty dependant on a propper cradle.

Also, since the engine is supported by the foward frame you can't cross the spars like that.  Crossed in an X they're not a load bearing structure.  You need to have them going stricht down from the steering head.  This would also be best for lining up your lower mounts.  In fact, if you can't get a T5 frame to cut the cradle out of, I would suggest having a 1/2" steel trapezoid cut out...one end needs to match the stock frame up top, the other needs to match the width between the front engine mounts.  You'll be able to weld your stock spars to the nea plate, then drill them to match your front mounts.  Then bend the lowers to meet back in a semi-stock location, have another plate cut to mke the transition.

Fab brackets to fit engine
use the stock GS tabs if ya can
move engine rearward a bit to try to clear the ex/frame problem
or custom pipes worse case

either go stock frame or copy the downtubes from the Titan and weld on
Mak is correct, the X is a bad idear

No can do on moving it rearward. It's a Possibility to move it back possibly 1/2" but thats not enough to clear the Headers and the Frame. As close as it is and at the Angle it will be Impossible to Offset the Header Pipes. :icon_confused:

I was Able to leave work early enough to pick up my Cylinders. :thumb: Bad News though Theright Cylinder Fit Perfectly but the Left seems to be Warped.   The Liner rubs the back side of the   Crank Case.It looks like it is Pulled away from the Clinder Casting a Bit.I'm not sure I will be Able to grind a tad bit of the outside of the Liner or not. :icon_confused: :icon_confused:

Oh well Here is Tonights Pictures.the Best part About it is that the heads and Cylinders Fit in the Position and I'll be Able to Pull Everything out of the Top of the frame without Much Problem at all.  :thumb:
