Hello fellow-GS-riders all over the world  ;),

I've got an question .

On my GS I've got a standard-exhaust. I'm already looking a couple of months for a sport-exhaust, when a Yoshimura full exhaust system with Zyclone pipe croosed my path.

I've read a lot of things about this pipe on the forum, but my question is:

What is necessary when taking of your stock-exhaust and put a sport-exhaust for it in the place.

I'll hear from you guys and girls.

Are you asking what is necessary as far as installing it, or as far as supporting mods?

as far as the supprting mods, for instance adjusting the timing of the valves, and so on.

Welcome!  I love seeing other riders from around the world!

You'll really only need to "rejet" your carburators after adding your exhaust system.  Do a search on this site for "exhaust rejet" or something similar and you'll find hundreds of threads on the topic.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your answer, not I know what to do.

[anther question mode]When I browsed the forum for Yoshi exhaust, I read that a lot of people also replaced their normal air-filter with a K&N filter.

Is it neccesary, or not??

It is not necessary but you might as well do it so that you only have to rejet once.  Besides, that is the cheaper half of the upgrades and it will compliment the exhaust much better than the stock box.

The yoshi is the best exhaust for the gs in terms of performance gains. good find!
