I got a buell blast windscreen recently off of ebay really cheap, but it's yellow and my bike's purple....any suggestions the easiest/best way to repaint the windscreen??? Probably paint it black because I  don't think I'll  be able to find the right color of purple.
Thanks

If you have an auto paint store near by or a body shop, they may be able to do a color analysis and get you the right code.  Someone on line has a link to all of the years of GS500 s and their color codes (if yours is a stock purple).

I've never had any issues clearing duplicolor... well i can't say never, now and then it'll give me trouble but thats mostly my fault for not prepping the surface before paint or not letting th base coat set properly set before clear.  But thats kind of a moot point since I think duplicolor looks great with a liberal amount of paint and just a wet sand and buff.  IMO.

The color codes are on the wiki...

You can get exact matching color cans from Color-rite, too, but they're possibly pricier than a local shop...
