OK,

A buddy of mine, another former Marine :icon_mrgreen:, owns and operates a machine Shop here in San Jose, CA.  I was talking to him a few weeks ago and was trying to find out how difficult it would be to him to make a set of Rear Sets for me.  He told me it shouldn't be too tough since he's made them for Harleys before.

The only issue he had was the amount of work that goes into making them for a specific bike.  Measuring, material used for prototypes etc...

He told me if I could find some other people interested in them that he would do it.

How many people would be interested in this?  And if you have any ideas to add please post!!!

How about something like this:
(Make me some and I will provide drawings)

How 'bout machining up some caliper brackets to mount 4-pot GSXR calipers on the front of the GS?  These calipers are cheap on eBay and would help the GS braking out a lot!  The piece could be made out of .25 flat stock and should be fairiy easy to produce.  I think I saw a pattern for it posted here for it...  Anyway, I bet you could sell quite a few of those!

If someone else wants to work on those, please do. I probably do not have enough GS front end parts to work from anyway. Plus I change all my front ends to either Kat or GSXR.

I like the two stage seats that the SVs have myself.  One long seat reminds me too much of my scooter but the bike is sweet and so was my scooter for s umme, rhehe.

Then do you have an extra GS caliper mount?  Mine's all bendy.

I am not sure exactly what you are wanting. PM me the details so it does not fill this thread with OT discussion.
