so i started the winter project today. i took the fairings off. god what a difference i am so happy right now. it looks like a sport bike now, not a plastic box POS your grandma could drive. i am soo happy i did it. i should of tooken them off a long time ago. now to find a buell headlight, turn signals, clip ons, and some paint.

What headlight setup are you going with?

Wait until you ride it, it feels like a totally different bike. Partly because you're looking straight over the gauge cluster into the ground, and because you're dropping about 25lbs of plastic and other junk from the front end of the bike.

Thats why i could never understand why they kept the "F" in production in the U.S and stopped the naked. Over here in Canada we still had both. Like my 03' Naked.

It is so much better, and it is like a riding a completely different bike, and im going with the dual buell headlight setup.

I think you need to paint the front fender yellow to match the rest... maybe some yellow rimtape too
