wow you know all these years of taxes and I never really realized how much was going out of my check each week. I had a friend who told me she made every two weeks and how much the taxes were on her checks. She makes more than I do. so I was like how is the govt. taken over 500$ a month out of my checks yet taken less out of her cheks and we share the same status. I should have claimed some other thing on taxes. I am trying to find the happy medium between paying taxes just enough so that I wont have to pay at the end nor recieve any back.
but I sure as hell could have a nice motorcycle for that amount a month!!!!!!!   

its cool though if all works well because I am paying the highest in status I can I should have a crap load of money back this year or for 2006, also I get to claim all of my taxes back up to 3000$ in VA for being a member of the Air National Guard.

I have a fealing this year will not be fun claiming 2006, because I purchased stocks and mutual funds... I have no idea to claim or not to claim or what to do about all that. but my philosophy on that is I dont have money in my hand from those stocks infact its tied up so I do not consider it income.

I know what you mean about paying all those taxes. I've heard of people actually getting back a bigger tax refund than they actually paid in. What a bunch of losers, living off you and I. I've always had a philosophy of if you don't earn your money you don't deserve it. The stupid government actually has a tax entitlement called "Earned" Income Credit. Everyone should pay their fair share to support themselves and what services, etc. that they take advantage of. I won't even get into the wasteful spending of the government.

my coworker has 3 kids an a stay at home wife, he pays in little to nothin eachweek, an the last 2 years he has gotten back arund 7k in both.  one year he bought a pool, last year he bought a bunch of high end beanie babies,  thats crazy.

yea its wierd because when I was on active duty military the govt hooked me up and I didnt have to pay much in. I didnt get a huge return but I didnt have to pay a lot in plus the govt hooked me up with tons of extra living expense money which ofcourse I used for fun lol.  I miss active duty I made more with the airforce than I do civilian job and I work twice as hard now have more responsibility and am 100% more dirty plus I gotta deal with civilians and you know how that goes not everyone in the civilian world is very respectfull or knows how to do their job , but in the airforce if you dont respect or know how to do your job your out of there. Im going to try and work the system soon though maybe claim a few things here and there with the use of technicalities I got my dad back an extra 500$ last year off a technicality just because of the way they worded somthing in the tax laws.

even though I love my country and I fight for it in the air national gaurd, I still think they waste too much money and need to make it so people pay their fair share. and I am blaming this on all parties and all wings of politics! I dont understand why the democrats keep attacking people who make more money and saying that they need to pay more because that makes me want to have a shitty job for the rest of my life if I gotta pay a crap load more just because im more successfull than bubba and his lazy ass. and what about all those people with like 200 kids and 100 babies daddy's or babies momma's , they actually make off pretty nice with all that welfare and food stamps. now im not saying everyone does because certain people actually do need it. but I do not want to pay for other peoples mistakes and thats what we do every day pay for the f%$k ups of America and the world to be honest. we continue to pay out money to other countries , LET THEM FIGURE THIER OWN CRAP OUT. now I am for the war because I think the middle east needs to be taught a lesson hell most of the world needs to be taught a lesson, but On the note of helping the people with our American dollars ... F that!  blow the place up and let them figure their own crap out, and if they come over here and continue to F with us then they get more bombs and more people like me sticking a m16 to there freeken towel heads. and that goes for the freeken mexicans coming over here illeagal too! I did border patrol for 3 months in AZ on the mexican border and I had them in my sites so many times and couldnt pull the trigger because of the political bullcrap AND OH did I want to pop them off and not let them come over illeagaly..... and what do we do? we start posting spanish on everything and giving them help and money out of MY f%$king PAY CHECK!!   I refuse to help anyone who cannot speek english and lives here, I refuse to even acknowledge them as people.

if you want to learn english that is cool Im all for helping and lending a hand .. but if you refuse to and still live here ... screw that.   I help people who need help and I do it every day. infact give one of my employees a ride home from work every night because the guy needs to get back on his feet again has a family and lives in the projects at the time. so im not a cold hearted dude I go out of my way to help people but only those who are sincer (sp).

well this is the usa, and teh language is english. my pov is i welcome anyone that wants to come here legally, or through asylum ( leaving a totally f%&ked up place to come here), as long as they are or end up legal. thats what makes our country as good as it is. but when i got my health insurance paperwork or instructions for whatever, the mailings were huge, im thinkin damn lots - info here. nope a short paragraph in about 15 different languages. taxes on the opther hand, are hmmm funny. its quite known that the govt wastes money. i just wish i could get a line by line list of teh budget. im bored i want to read this. if found parts of it, but i want to find the complete budget, i want to see how this money is spent. plus that makes for a more informed voter come election time.

why the hell do we need research on a better energy source we already know what is a better energy source. but its the idiots of America that are scared of nuclear power. clean and efficient. Its the people voting against them in their towns. we already know just about every energy source to be tapped out there its just a matter of praticality and cost. I could care less who hates us dude. we support the entire world if we feel like dropping a bombe on someone who wants to screw with us then we have every right.  Just Like I have a right to pop a few rounds in the jack ass that tries to rob me downtown again. I don't really wanna turn this into some left vs right debate...point is taxes suck! I'm a small buisness owner.. Have 3 employees, you think buying a 1098 every quarter sux, how about a paying workers comp. Its a % of the income you pay out. Then get into taxes.. The only way to avoid paying taxes on income is to tie that cash into some thing for the buisness, supplies, hardgoods, a vehicle... Now your goind yeah that sounds great, I'd like to do that, buy a hummer, logo it and right it off... ? I don't wanna buy that crap, I wanna save that money, not spend it! Nope sorry that's taxable income. I'm not rich. At all. Sometimes I'm freaking wondering how I'm gunna pay my guys, but I'll buy uncle sam a new small house every year... That's a great system!!!
FLAT FEDERAL TAX! You spend it your taxed... You don't your not....no more hidding money from uncle sam, you buy a $400,000 dollar house to hide some money, nope bamm! That 25% fed tax please! You save it to give your kids in 50 years...no tax.
And those aren't even the good arguements for the flat tax...research it, I'd give you some links but my hands are tired from written checks....

Even if you agree with the war this is a bigger black hole for american tax money than anything else at the moment. They are paying like 100k a year for civilian contractors to do menial work over there.

Is it not unfair to blame your taxes or problems on illegal aliens, when a very high percentage of them are employed at jobs that Americans aren't competing for? Graveyard janitor shift at Wal-Mart, anyone? Bussing tables anyone? Picking strawberries 6am-6pm anyone?

No doubt the government has waste to trim, but I don't think poor people as a whole (or illegal aliens) are getting rich off the government.

My friend is a mech.engineer. He went over to do some rebuulding work... Yeah $350,000 is a nice check, 25 of his "co-workers" were killed. These aren't GI joes, he's a nerd..total tech geek. arent you taxed more when you actually own your house instead of having a mortgage?  because of some tax breaks you get having a mortgage.  I actually get to write off a lot of equipment for work  because I had to buy all my tools to be a fabricator/welder .    I understand its hard on you guys who own business's my boss uses me as his personal theropist it seems lol so I get to hear it all from him. you know last year I was short 10$ from paying my tax return because of a simple math error on my part and they went crazy with calling me and sending me letters and making sure I paid them that 10 dollars I told the lady that I couldnt believe they made such a fuss over it, like I was some kind of criminal . I own a small photography company although it is "freelance"  if you know what I mean. its all cash or check and that goes into my pocket although when it starts getting bigger I will probly have to take the hit.  Right now it does really well off word of mouth and web exposure. and when I need to hire a helper or another photographer to help at times its all under the table as well.   

one of the biggest things I have yet to understand is a tax on gifts or bonuses .... why would you get taxed on somthing givin to you ?
I made a 10k bonus for joining the airforce. first I got 5k then it gets paid out to me over my enlistment term of 6 years.  so it comes time to receive my first 5k.... nope dont get 5k I get 3500$ after the taxes on  a bonus!   so im like ok I joined the airforce i could possibly  lose my life for this country and they still want to tax the little bit of money that is rewarded to me? for what what the hell do they need it for .. I mean they gave it to me in the first place.   

then if you inherit a lot of money it is taxed on top of what was already taxed out of it just because you were givin that? i dont get it. when I leave money to my kids I will give them specific instructions to never tell a soul about it nor to claim anything on taxes about it.   and like I said before I dont even know how to start with my stocks and mutual funds im sure ill get screwed some way with them as well.

Lol, yeah the tax system is wacked! The irs wants every penny you owe them! Think 10 bucks is bad try 10,000 bucks they don't play.
Its funny what they tax and how there are loop holes to hide stuff. My buddie is a cpa for a horse stable that had a few derby horses. That's crazy big money in this area...polo, people with way more money then brains. He comes up with very clever ways to hide money and what not.
