Well I did it, as some of you may know..I sold the gs a few weeks back...just felt like it was time.
But after riding my zrx around, and I haven't for a while. I found my self missing the gs...its nimble handle'n.
So on craigslist I grab a 2005 blue, sv650s...with 629 miles, for 3500 bucks! Long story...
She's box stock, but I've already got a pipe ordered and need to chop the fender tomorrow. I'll post some pics soon.
If it comes out of your body you shouldn't be afraid to hold it in your hand! :o

It sounds like an excellent deal.  I take a look at my local craigslist and a 2005 SV650s with lot more miles are over $4000!  Congrats on the new bike!

Yeah, I'm waiting for it to blow up or something...its not 100% but its close, couple of small nicks and a po dropped a wrench on the top of the tank, next to the cap.
He bought it to race it, put on race plastics, broke it in on a dyno, then had a family issue and didn't race for 2 years. And what ever series he races you can race a 2 year old bike..so he's getting an 07. Just needed to unload it...I've put 40 miles on it and no issues. I payed him in cash and a personal check, if it was bunk I don't think he'd have taken a check on sunday...cause I can stop it b4 it clears. Not that I am ....so what do ya 'll think?

Maybe I'm just a paranoid, I think you probably should take it to a mechanic for a checkup of the bike.  Not to say that it'll have problems, but just in case there're mechanical problems, you wouldn't want to know about them when you're riding.  Anyways, congrats and ride safe!
