How to replace speedometer cable?

So I couldn't for the life of me find in my repair manual how to replace the speedometer cable.  Now I'm trying to do as little work as possible here because I'm a lazy bastard, so do I need to remove the front wheel in order to replace the cable or is it possible to unscrew something and blah blah blah.

I'm assuming that its not tooooo difficult but it's always nice to have read ahead before doing anything, ya know?

Unscrew the little phillips head, the cable should come out.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.
