still V-twin to I-4, sport bike to converted dual purpose, High insurance to cheap insurance, Honda v Suzuki, clip-ons to bars, full fairing v front only fairing..........................and the list goes on................anyone have a quarter to flip?

naa i wish i did. my dad offered me a trade for my gs to his vstrom or i could wait and sell my gs and buy an old f4i

still a $1500 bike for a $5000 bike.  Get the strom, put a GSXR front end on it and a beefier rear shock and get a sporty tourer.

Yeah the V-strom is a pretty god-awful looking bike and the honda has some sexy lines   I'm looking at one (cbrf4) out on base that the guy wants 3k for if I can talk him down to 2.5k I'm getting it   Stock sucks........I don't care what bike...stock sucks    well cept for maybe the 1098s, not really anything left to do to mod it    I'd go for the cbr

Dude, if you get the VStrom, you won't get the respect you'd get on the F4i. You do care that other people judge you by your ride, don't you? Especially at the drag strip man, if you try dragging a V-Strom people will just laugh at you. You don't want that now, do you?

V-strom makes more sense but whatever bike your gonna be happiest with is the one you should get
