That screams for a SSSA ... and an USD FE. I actually htink you'd have a nicer looking bike wihtout side covers, especially if you got a little CF triangle and put under the seat in front where you see the frame rail. That's all needed. Very monster like. But much much better.
OK so where battery and electrics >>> OK your turn to figure it out. I am done.
Cool.

I think a SSSA would be awesome, but that is to expensive for me!  I do not plan on using any side covers.  The CF panel is a good idea though.  I may try that!   :thumb:  It will also have the monster seat cowl painted the same color as the tank!

Battery box is mounted directly above the rear shock, between the frame rails.  Look closely in the first pic and you can see the plate that the box bolts to.

And I have scraped the idea of the underseat exhaust and scraped the S4R exhaust.  You'll have to wait and see what my new idea is!

Progress!

Stripped and painted the frame, installed motor, installed rearsets and rear brake master cylinder.  Next I will be rebuilding the front end with sonic springs!

Thanks!

I plan on rebuilding the GS front end with sonic springs.  Then eventually I'll put on an inverted front end from a newer GSXR.

The next step will be to get the taillights and rear turn signals mounted!

Looks good. I noticed from the first test pics and the new ones you lower the angle of the seat. I would have look bad ass with the seat at the angle you had it in your first post but all in all looks kck ass.

Yeah I was hoping to have a slightly higher angle, but the higher angle made the seat height to high.  It also wasn't very comfortable at that height.  The final seat frame is at a nice, comfortable height.

I am about to order rebuild kits for my carbs and jets.  What jets would you guys recommend for my setup?  I'll be running a K&N filter and the Ducati monster exhaust I was talking about earlier in the thread.

Just welded my first time ever so I know those dont look good so..... But this is my mod and Im doing the tail peice now, Its from a racing ninja 600.

this is how it looks on it. Stock seat but cut in front about 1 inch and chope the rear off after the lock. Seat slides in the fairing and bolts down. Fiberglass around the seat to fit tight will post more pics when i get them.

Jealous ...  ...
Cool.
Srinath.
Me? Jealous, no.  Just looking for advice as to what jets to use!  ;)  Not sure why someone else would post their project in my thread, but it's cool.
