Big high 5 to Mike (dbdesigns on customfighters.com) for making this top triple clamp with vrod headlight mount.  I can't wait to mount it on the bike.  Unfortuunately I have moved recently and the bike is still stored at my brothers house so it will be a week or two before I can mount this on the bike to see how it looks. 

Wow!  Nice piece there!  Bet it wasn't cheap...

That is my goal.  Had to have the bottom block of the headlight mount redesigned, but that should be done soon.

Going to be doing the Monster tail, and seat like you did, but I'm thinking of using a frame off a Monster so i can use some of the stock monster parts, but first i have to do the fairings on the front, so i will have a E into a F with a Ducati tail, to bad i have to wait till fall to begin. that triple looks great. I really like the light that's going on it also. it i wasn't doing a F model up front i would do a similar head light.

Hi there. Im,e loving what your doing with this little gs. I have only joined this forum recently after buying a stolen recovered gs 500 6 m onths ago. The bike is a 92 uk model.....its a little bit rough around the edges,but i think its got a bit of potential. Instead of restoring it to standard condition,Ive decided to have a go at giving it a cafe-racer make over.
As it had been stolen by some low life scum,it had picked up a few bumps and scars. The levers and indicators were snapped off...missing the fuel cap,and the clocks were smashed in. So far I,ve, trimmed the rear subframe down...made a new seatpan....changed the rear light,and made a neat little bracket to hold a single  speedo. The  engine itself is very quiet as it only done 19 thousand miles.The only  problem with it at the moment is the fueling...but I,ve been following a few of the threads on here so a carb strip down is under way as we speak.Its not going to be as stunning as yours but it certainly wont be standard. Will post some pics later.

You have a pair of "nuts" on your car/truck ? I guess they have truck nuts for trucks ... You have one of those ?

I like that headlight a lot still round like the stock one but has a much sleeker look for sure. Looking good

what a beauty of a bike you have designed and built!! As my GS progresses much of my inspiration has come from reading through this thread! thanks for sharing and putting together such a nice looking bike.  I really like the clean rear end you fab'd up and it looks to me like it would still be comfortable to ride. Keep up the good work.
PS the new headlight looks awesome, a sweet improvement yet keeping the original overall appearance.

Ditched it.  Didn't like the look after all and it was too big and heavy.

What the bruck is that - what make - tortilla ? Anyway the angle of that pic doesn't make it look as testicular and yours ...

And man always glad to be of help ... he he he he he ... Like the 96-97 katana 600 tail light was so boob like ... its near impossible to walk by one without copping a feel.
