Well.. Today it was nice, sunny and my Birthday  :icon_mrgreen: But I had to work  :icon_rolleyes:

The cool thing was, for work ... I had to ride a 05 CBR1000 Repsol  edition all around town !!!  :icon_mrgreen: There was a photo shoot for a rally comming up and I had to ride the bike that my store is giving away. I got to ride it around to 5 diff locations for 5 hot girls to sit on it and get photos taken with it  :icon_mrgreen: There where 5 other bikes as well from other local dealers but I was the only sport bike

Here is a pic of me and the CBR  :icon_mrgreen: I couldnt stop smiling  :icon_mrgreen:

And the bike in all its glory

All in all it was one sweet day at work, and one awesome birthday  O0 :thumb: All I can say about the CBR is... WOW! It is SOOOO quick and fast.. In 3rd gear from 35mph I hit 90 with just the smallest flick of the throttle and no gear change  :icon_twisted: I dont think I even got it over 7000 RPM's  :o That is one AWESOME MACHINE! I cant wait to upgrade to a faster bike than the GS. The GS is cool but after a sunny day riding a $12,000 liter bike I am a bit sad to have to take it back to work tomorrow  :icon_rolleyes: I still get to ride to one more shoot later this evening and I will deff! be taking the long way there  :icon_mrgreen:

Working on Sundays will never be the same  :icon_razz:

Stupid hurts. Dress for the crash, not for the ride.

Seriously we need a smiley for drooling!!!!! :thumb: :thumb:  Awesome bike :o :o  Our local has the CBR1000RR for 11k so 12k for a repsol sounds reasonable to me :thumb:

If I had one of those I'd have to get the repsol jacket, a cane, and a vicodin addiction so I could be pimp like House.

That is an awsome bike!   I would love to have one of those.

+1  hahaha, exactly what I think when I see that bike.

If you do pick one up, my advice would be to lower the gearing from stock.  My Daytona is down on that guy by a good amount of horsepower, but I'll still hit 120+ MPH in 3rd gear.  Gear changing was my first mod, if for no other reason than to keep myself from losing my license... the wheelie factor did help though, nothing better than 3rd gear power wheelies at 70 mph!!

Thanks to all of you for the B-day wishes  :thumb:

Whats funny is no one from work wanted to do the photo shoot. I was supposed to take another bike.. a Boulevard 800  When I got to work to pick it up, one of the service guys left the key on  So... The batt was dead... The boss said just pick any bike and take it  :icon_mrgreen:

At that moment a light shown down from heaven right on the Repsol  And the rest is history
