well i just put a deposit on a new (used but new to me i guess) bike. i cant really say its a good bye because ive only posted a few times on this forum but yea you guys helped me out a lot. and by reading about how many time all you guys  messed up i was able to learn from your mistakes too  :icon_mrgreen:
this bike has basically been my dream bike since i first saw sportbikes. its a 1998 vtr1000. it has only 10000 miles on it and comes with an extra fairing for the track, carbon fiber gas tank(not installed), front and rear carbon fiber huggers, carbon fiber crank case cover, new rear sets(not installed), dual carbon two brothers exhaust(sounds like a freakin earthquake) and some other stuff. the guy babied it to. so yea just wanna say thanks to yall for all the advice and tips.

Hey, no need to take off.

I don't even have a motorcycle. I have never even ridden a motorcycle on the street. Hell, I havn't even seen a GS500 in person before. I hang out here because it's funny as hell, and I learn stuff. No need to leave because you don't ride a GS anymore.

Stupid hurts. Dress for the crash, not for the ride.

And there is another owner of a superhawk here as well, Jake D were are you    Not to mention that motorcycles are motorcycles, don't have to leave because you are not an owner of a GS anymore.

Nice find by the way, they are sweet.  Dealer around here has one but it has been painted with spray bedliner, so I wouldn't dare spend the money they want on it.  Its also rashed in a couple spots, no doubt saved somewhat from the bedliner :cookoo:.

Mind your Cam Chain Tensioner (CTC).  You might as well ride that torque wave over to the superhawk forum!  Congrats and great choice!!

well i picked her up a few days ago. im basically in love. shes stupid fast and obnoxiously loud, but i love her. its also disgustingly easy to wheely on which is always good. the only things i dislike about the bike are the 120 mile range and how hard it is to shift from 1st to second.
i took her into venturas downtown last night and had a bunch of girls come up and comment on how hot guys on fast bikes were. so yea...i love this bike
