OR something went IN.  My guess is one of the bikers threw/shot something at the car.

If you notice, the SUV was braking as soon as the window shattered...  meaning they prolly were startled by it.

If your rear window shatters from the OUTSIDE on an SUV or similar shaped vehicle, the vortex of air behind it will "suck" the glass towards the outside.
