There is a complete ( less carbs)motor on ebay right now from a 2000 model with only 767 miles on it.

Ben2go - I was planning to put the serial number missing motor in it and ride it.
I would need a reference bike as I work putting the other one back together.
I cant sell the frame ... but lets see what has happened when he gets back to this site.

I typed it in the morning whenI thought my truck will be fixed by today ...
Now looks like the whole tie rods are bad ... not just ends.
Next weekend - gotta order parts and wait.
I dunno its looking like I shouldn't ... but I get the truck done and I will do it ...

I may take a while with that bike ... Heck I took forever coating the frame.
I am mainly wanting to ride a GS and getting that serial numberless motor legit ...
I will work on getting the thing working. I believe I have the needed stuff.
I'll hit you in a bit then.

Not sure if you posted this before e-mailing me yesterday during my travels from NYC to DC but I will purchase the bike (less engine) upon my return to Ohio assuming I can get out of Dulles tonight without a further delay.

When I get my bags unpacked, we can discuss the logistics of transfering the GS to me which appears to be either Saturday or Sunday.
