Will newer brake calipers fit on '93?

I know that brake calipers changed somewhere around '96. Would calipers from new GS, for example from 2005, fit on the '93? Is the bolt distance the same?

yeah, i also... dont know.

All years will bolt onto each other, the mounting points are the same. IIRC...the pistons (at least one of them) increased in size and the brake pad retention clip changed. The pads are different.
Common sense in not very common.

Would replacing '93 calipers with 2000 calipers be an upgrade?

I see that my existing front caliper is a two piston as well. Except it seems that on '93 one piston is larger, whereas on 2000 they seem to be the same size.

So? Does anybody know if newer GS have better brake/calipers than the older ones or not?

Will be an improvement to swap 93 brakes with 2000 brakes?
