according to the SVrider.com the GSX650F is replacing the GS500F :(
http://forum.svrider.com/index.php?topic=92982.0

i hope thats not true.  While the GSX650F looks kinda cool, its got a steel frame and weighs a friggin ton!  :nono:

GS500 Still shows in the 2008 line up on suzuki's site  :dunno_white:

It shows as a 2007 though.  Guess we will see when they prune the 2007s from the list.

I can't imagine they would remove the GS from production and Let Kawasaki rule the entry 2 cylinder sportbike department. I like the 650F and I'm interested in seeing some HP and mpg figures. I think the kicker for me will be whether or not the aftermarket jumps on it. The #1 thing i don't like about the GS is the limited availability of aftermarket stuff.

Sorry, B-King is about as appealing as Burger King at steak prices.
650F though is  hot.
Cool.

This from someone who likes Salvages! :P

Actually, 13K is a ridiculous price, but I'd take the BKing if I won it!  :icon_mrgreen:

The prototype when it was introduced was the "Boost King", turbocharged.

Somewhere along the line that was dropped (we aren't ready), so the "B-King" hasn't got any "B" anymore. Funny, it's still priced like it.

I expected to be really enthusiastic about it, but multiple electronic "riding modes" (yeah, like you're going to have time to fool with that when the feces hit the fan), catalyst, slipper clutch (because you're not bright enough to keep from breaking the rear loose on downshifting), and an absurd price tag... pass.

I wonder if they kept the auto dial 911 feature... I remember the prototype had this deal that sensed when you downed it and auto-called for help. Granted, I'm sure it would do the same thing as soon as you break 80mph too...
Current ride - none :(

I'd rather get myself a nice Z1000... or even a Speed Triple.  Either way, you'd save yourself from throwing money away.
