Hmm. The previous owner's SIM was still in the phone. And billing was current.

ANywho-  yes, the dryer works, sometimes.

This was the same phone that was 3-4 years old (nokia brick) that had been drowned in both orange juice and coffee before this incident.

Fiddled with it today and I can control iTunes with it from across the room. Kinda cool bluetooth stuff.

Blah, phones still suck.

Oh ya, swapping out the SIM is no big deal, that's what GSM is all about. I really don't understand how the phone companies were allowed to lock phones though. Some lawsuit loophole from a long time back.

Hey dude..heard of Trac Phone? You can buy one for around $15.00 and just buy the pay as you go cards for it.
Best thing is NO Contract! No hassles from the cell company and you can use it ANYwhere in the country without roaming charges...Cool :thumb:

For about 50.00 you can get one with all the bells and whistles..
Well, either you're part of the problem, part of the solution,...

This is what I use also. I got their bottom deal, ie. cheapest deal, the Nokia 1100. It works fine for what I need I guess, but it doesn't have color, camera, or any of the other bells & whistles.
