Just charged up my new battery, got it in the GS, she starts first try now, which is great. However, when I run her up to about 7.5K, I pull 12.8V across the terminals. That seems a tad low to me, but I'm not sure. How does that sound to you gurus?

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

My GS at 5k gives out around 13v and so is another GS I tested
I never seen my charging reach 15v as suggested in Haynes manual

Awesome, so I'm at least close to the norm. I just wanted to be sure it really was a battery issue (I was 99% sure, since the old battery was sulfated all to hell, and dry as a bone. Like, dry enough that I didn't even bother adding water to see if it would come back to life)
