Even if the voices aren't real they have some good ideas.

They mount to the factory GS500E head light bracket.

but if he converts it to a naked he will probably be using the E headlight, wouldn't that give him the mounts?

Jay_wolf

Yep, unless he uses a different way to mount it.

You could use '80's Yamaha turnsignals (see avatar, oh wait, there's a picture of my bike in the gallery), or I'm waiting to get my hands on the new ('07+) Kawasaki turnsignals.

I used Buells, I like the smoked lense, and they are definitely brighter than the stock GS TS.  Pretty cheap, too, but after 4 yrs (2 of them parking the bike within 500 yds of the Pacific ocean), the screws were rusting.

I duno what the F model brackets look like  :dunno_white: Can you take a pic?

Aside from that... If you are mounting duel headlights the bracket will prob not support signals  :thumb:

The stock E brackets look like this:

They go on each of the fork tubes.  There are 2 triangular cheek pieces that connect this bracket to the sides of the lights (not shown, but easy to see on most pictures of the 500e).

When I mounted dual headlights I found that the triangular cheek pieces weren't quite long enough to stop the back of the light fouling the fork brackets (and speedo cable).  So you can either make your own (pretty easy) or poke about in the wreckers for something that can be modified to suit.

And yes, the turn signals in the E bracket do fit with dualies... (they sit beneath the light)

dgyver has dual head lights, aztec I think and those brackets are beefy and would take a signal without a problem.
