no not the 300 buck ones, but i have found two separate lowering links that have one hole on the top and 3 on the bottom.  i am wondering if it is structurally sound.  oh darn i am doing that without a link...just a minute i'll be right back, you won't even notice me gone...hey a squirrel

As long as they bolt up, I dont see why they wouldnt work.  Or you coucl just make a set.

 oh oh oh ! it's "billet" aluminum ! it's _got_ to be good !

now if you get "certified aircraft billet alu" then it's like 4x the cost and coolness.

<end sarcasm>

you could just make your own with a drill and a angle grinder. ;)

i'd rather have a forged piece myself, cnc or 'billet' usually means it's quite weaker than forged. ;)

Those look similar to the lowering links I have on my SV650S.

athinkingmachine: that sounds like a pretty good price. I think I had mine installed for about $90-$100, including the links, but I haven't had my kickstand shortened yet. I really need to, though, because the bike's too unstable right now (and I drop my bike plenty w/o the added bonus of a non-shortened kickstand ;) ).

I'm fine when I'm moving, lol, but coming to a stop...if the ground is a little off, sometimes I'll tilt a little.  Haven't dropped it again though...fingers crossed =-)
Believe me, I *SO* understand. Before I had my SVS lowered, I could barely tippy-toe to the ground, and I fell over...ahem....once or twice or....  :laugh: I think my legs have become stronger due to the many "near misses."  :icon_mrgreen:

Isn't this how we're SUPPOSED to park? ;)

seems more logical and safe as opposed to holding it up with a 1in x 1in piece of metal  :cookoo: :laugh:

about 1/2 inch and i would be flat footed and golden.  it is really not a bother as is other than my cammo court shoes make me skid on the bike and i could dump it.
